NYT

On Sunday I opened the New York Times to see a review of Patrick deWitt's book "Ablutions". A fine fine book that was the first book I could smell. I had to put it down periodically not because it was bad, but because it was too good. I would start to choke sometimes. Sensory thing. Anyway, they ran my photo of Patrick. Thanks Patrick as I ride your coattails right into the New York Times.

PHOENIX

Went to Phoenix a week or so ago to shoot Shane Doan. Really really nice guy. My photo of him is in the latest issue of ESPN Magazine. I am in complete obsession over if I should to get the Canon G10 or the Lumix LX3. If any one has any insight on this email me at dmonick@dmonick.com. If i read another comparative review that says both are good for different reasons Im gonna freak out.
